MY VALORANT PROGRESS AND STORY TIME!!

Pebble's Gaming Diaries

Hello all!

Apologies for my absence on Sunday, I couldn’t play much through the week due to my busy academic schedule, and decided that missing one upload day would be much better than posting something that doesn’t bring you any value <3

In today’s post I have decided to share with you all my current progress in Valorant, as well as my most recent male gamer interaction.

As far as it goes, my gameplay has been very inconsistent lately, some games I come so close to being *MVP and in others, I am in dire need of aim training!

As you can see, in a game I played on October 27th, a friend of mine and I carried our team. She had 21 kills and 20 deaths in 28 rounds, while I got 24 kills and 18 deaths. That’s a pretty good game, despite the fact we lost.

However, in the next game of that day I went 16-17 (16 kills, 17 deaths) and we won, thanks to our Silver Raze *carry!

On October 31st I played 2 games of *comp and 2 games of unrated. In my 2 games of comp I went 8-16 and 6-19, both times achieving a higher or an equivalent number of assists than kills, which is absolutely terrible and I am more than willing to acknowledge that. Yet somehow my teams won both games, which I will be eternally grateful for, haha.

So, as you can all see, if I am to get to Bronze 3 (which I am 25 points [1 good game] away from) before the end of the month (November), I need to work on my consistency and aim, and for that I will be using both Aimlabs and Valorant’s in-game aim trainer, ‘The Range’.

Onto today’s story…

On October 31st after playing the comp games I mentioned previously, I decided to play 2 games of unrated. It was in these two games that I met 2 sweet yet invasive young boys from France. In the first unrated game, I became MVP, achieving 8-1 in 5 rounds, as the enemy team forfeited, and when I queued for my next game, I ended up in the same lobby as two of the boys I had played with previously. The boys were very funny and very sweet, however when they found out I was a girl they were not only surprised (since I was MVP the game before), but the entire game turned into a competition and joke about them giving me their Snapchat accounts.

Now, I’m certain it was a joke as neither of the boys pursued it any further after the game, nor did they ever ask me for any personal info other than my age. I found the whole ordeal very entertaining, particularly when I asked them for their ages and was met with replies of 16 and 18. As a 21-year-old woman, the thought of 2 such young men being infatuated with you simply because you’re female and willing to joke back to them in a non-flirtatious way, is quite odd yet relieving.

It was a nice end to the terrible day of gaming I was having and a sort of restoration of my faith in the gaming community.

Banter is banter as long as you know your boundaries and make sure they’re respected <3
