Pebble's Gaming Diaries   09/11/2022 Hello everyone! Today I wanted to share with you the progress I have made recently and a very fun game I played. The following screenshots are of the games I played recently with a good friend of mine. As you can see, we are both playing well and typically carry the teams, @Gabi especially! @Gabi 28kills, 13 deaths - MVP @Frej 19kills, 18 deaths - 2nd on the board @Gabi 13kills, 16 deaths  @Frej 17kills, 16 deaths @Gabi 23kills, 10 deaths - MVP @Frej 21kills, 14 deaths - 2nd on the board I am still Bronze2, but am so so close to becoming Bronze3! I did well in the last game I played, and I only lost *7RR. @Gabi 13kills, 23 deaths @Frej 27kills, 21 deaths - MVP I am coming to the end of my assignment season, so am looking forward to playing a few more games and trying to rank up faster! ---

THE SWEETEST VALORANT GAME!!

Pebble's Gaming Diaries   06/11/2022 Good day everyone! Today’s blog post will be a quick update/story time on my most recent game! I’ve been having quite a hard week; I was sick and have had a lot of personal things to take care of. However, this game really improved my mood and was so enjoyable! I didn’t think to take more screenshots of the chat, but this one just encapsulates all the positive energy that was shared between the whole team. The game was an absolute rollercoaster, one minute we were winning, and the next we were losing, but no one ever gave up hope and we all encouraged each other so much! I really wish that more Valorant games were as positive and uplifting as this, it makes you more focused and confident, so you’re so much more likely to perform well. As you can see, our Sage, @Pixie was also female and mentioned how her teammates in the game before this one were toxic and sexist towards her, which is a classic occurrence for many female gamers. MY VALORANT PROGRESS AND STORY TIME!!

Pebble's Gaming Diaries   02/11/2022 Hello all! Apologies for my absence on Sunday, I couldn’t play much through the week due to my busy academic schedule, and decided that missing one upload day would be much better than posting something that doesn’t bring you any value <3 In today’s post I have decided to share with you all my current progress in Valorant, as well as my most recent male gamer interaction. As far as it goes, my gameplay has been very inconsistent lately, some games I come so close to being *MVP and in others, I am in dire need of aim training! As you can see, in a game I played on October 27 th , a friend of mine and I carried our team. She had 21 kills and 20 deaths in 28 rounds, while I got 24 kills and 18 deaths. That’s a pretty good game, despite the fact we lost. However, in the next game of that day I went 16-17 (16 kills, 17 deaths) and we won, thanks to our Silver Raze *carry! On October 31 st I played 2 games of *comp and 2 games of unrated. In my 2 ...

RESPECT FOR GIRL GAMERS? ARE YOU TECHNOLOGICALLY DEPENDENT?

Image
Pebble's Gaming Diaries   26/10/2022 Hello everyone, I hope we’re all having a lovely week! As I shared at the end of my previous blog, today we will be discussing an article written by Claire Gregory (Sky News), regarding Chloe Grace Moretz’ views on being a girl in the gaming community, as well as Jack Reynor’s opinion on the rise of technological dependency. If anyone has any comments they would like to share, please feel free to comment below or even private message me on my social media – Twitter and Instagram . Moretz shares her frustrations with the Sky News team stating how there isn’t really any “respect” for female gamers, which I think a lot of us women can agree with. I think it goes without saying, a mutual pre-emptive fear of being verbally harassed by teammates is a clear sign that something is wrong in the community. A lot of female gamers are scared to speak, scared to play alone, and scared to lose, and this all stems from previous interactions with ce...
