THE SWEETEST VALORANT GAME!!

Pebble's Gaming Diaries

Good day everyone!

Today’s blog post will be a quick update/story time on my most recent game!

I’ve been having quite a hard week; I was sick and have had a lot of personal things to take care of. However, this game really improved my mood and was so enjoyable!

I didn’t think to take more screenshots of the chat, but this one just encapsulates all the positive energy that was shared between the whole team.

Sweet messages

The game was an absolute rollercoaster, one minute we were winning, and the next we were losing, but no one ever gave up hope and we all encouraged each other so much!

I really wish that more Valorant games were as positive and uplifting as this, it makes you more focused and confident, so you’re so much more likely to perform well.

As you can see, our Sage, @Pixie was also female and mentioned how her teammates in the game before this one were toxic and sexist towards her, which is a classic occurrence for many female gamers. In fact, the game I played after this had a teammate who only gave off negative energy, making racist and sexual jokes, thankfully not towards me or anyone else, but the energy was still not optimal for doing our best. To be exact, he was the type of player that is only happy when they are winning, curses when they unnecessarily push the enemy team and die, and just makes it uncomfortable for female gamers to want to speak.

But enough negativity, back to the main focus. If I knew a better way to tag these gamers, I would. Thank you to @alphafox1010 and @Pixie for the sweetest game, and for making my day! It is always so refreshing to meet other civilised and positive people on such an inherently toxic game.

The fact that we won this game and I happened to match MVP just proves that a little bit of positivity goes a long way.

Match MVP 05/11

Take care everyone, have a wonderful week ahead!
